THE QUARRies

Situated opposite the village of Biasca, one minute from the motorway exit, the two Gregori quarries cover an area of around 20,000 m2.

They currently employs six expert workers, active in two different quarrying areas.

Quarrying takes place using explosives and diamond wire saws, thus obtaining as much as possible from the mountain and minimising wastage.

The various sized blocks obtained are then loaded onto lorries, with shipments normally organised by customers, and taken away. Depending on the final use, the blocks will then be processed further by the customers themselves, or used as they are.
